Hi Lindsay, Thank you for contributing to the children’s world of literature. As a former kindergarten teacher, I know first-hand what quality literature does to enhance the lives/spirits of children. I retired last summer so I missed online teaching (WHEW!…dodged that bullet) and feel for all of you with online learning. Truthfully, I think this has set most kids way back, even if parents were diligent, as it’s the classroom environment and all its nuances that moves kids forward in learning and socialization. Thanks for the pictures/words podcast with Michael. I got a lot from your presentation and when I finish revising my picture book, “Birds With Breakfast,” I’ll be contacting you through Critter Lit for an initial/future critiques.
